About Our Classroom Course

Students taking classroom defensive driving class

Students taking classroom defensive driving class

Classroom Program Approved by the New York DMV

If you complete the defensive driving course in a classroom, those sessions are conducted by a certified instructor, and they will consist of either 6 straight hours with a lunch break of 30 minutes plus shorter breaks during the day. Or, you can attend two 3-hour sessions (with short breaks).

Either way, you will learn techniques that teach you to expect the unexpected. By recognizing potential risks you will be able to respond to unexpected events before it is too late. It's up to you to take the next step in developing and utilizing safe driving techniques for auto accident prevention.

Classroom Requirements

  • Bring your New York State drivers license.
  • Be on time - New York State law does not allow students to enter class late.
